Founder, Nurturing Love

Jennifer A. Herman is a dedicated advocate for children, caretakers, and families involved in the child welfare system. Jennifer is a Certified Brainspotting Therapist and Perinatal Mental Health Doula, specializing in loss and bereavement. She has also taken additional training in the foster and adoption constellation. Her insights are rooted in both her professional and personal experience; she is a foster mother, a permanencey mother to her bright and beautiful son, and a proud stepmother to her three loving (almost all!)  adult children. 

She believes in empowering families by providing access to resources, guidance, and community. Outside of her advocacy work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her blended, non-traditional family and all things nature. She is continually striving to make a positive impact on others' lives.
