Nurturing Love for a Better Future for Foster Families
Volunteer with Nurturing Love Today
We are currently seeking volunteers who are interested in leading virtual peer-to-peer style support groups for foster/kinship/adoptive and bio parents of Pennsylvania. We are in need of volunteers with lived experience for at a minimum of two years in the following categories:
• Kinship Care (fostering a relative's child or children)
• Foster/Resource Dad
• Foster/Resource Mom
• Over 65 Foster/Resource Parent
• LGBTQ+ Foster/Resource Parent
• Single Foster/Resource Parent
• Foster to Adopt Parent
• Bio Parent who has had children in foster care system
No training or experience leading support groups needed! We will provide all training and supervision necessary. Training commitment is anywhere from 3-6 hours depending on experience. Flexible schedules available. All support groups re held online via Zoom. Volunteer time commitment is once to twice a month at 90 - 120 minutes each time.
